Posting an 11-percent decline from 1999, November's overall sales eased with 3,670 vehicles sold for the month. Grand Vitara sales slowed in November, notching 1,753 units, a 27-percent decline from sales for the same period in 1999. However, Esteem Sedan and Wagon monthly sales outpaced 1999, selling 1,016 vehicles, a 30-percent increase over November last year. "In November, we introduced the XL-7 to the press and our dealers," said Gary Anderson, vice president of sales. "The XL-7's comfortable ride, power and seating versatility garnered favorable impressions from both dealers and press alike.
