Mazda Reports November Sales
    IRVINE, Calif., Dec. 1 Mazda North American Operations
(MNAO) today announced U.S. sales of 18,726 units for the month of
November, up 8.0 percent over November 1999.  The increase was led by strong
sales of Mazda's all-new 2001 Tribute sport utility vehicle, the Protege
compact sedan and the new, more powerful 2001 Miata roadster.
    Overall, Mazda's year-to-date sales total is 235,593 units, an increase of
4.0 percent over the same period last year.
