Ensera and Keystone Automotive Industries Announce Strategic Partnership Agreement
REDWOOD SHORES, Calif.--Dec. 1, 2000--Under the terms of a newly announced partnership between Keystone and Ensera, Repair Facilities will be able to streamline the process of preparing and working an electronic claim file using Ensera's iON Connection 4.0.
A hotlink on iON Connection will provide an instant connection to Keystone's catalogue and give them the ability to order parts online. iON Connection is Ensera's Internet-based application that provides the ability to streamline the automotive claims process.
The Keystone partnership gives repairers access to repair information as well as the full line of aftermarket parts, remanufactured wheels, and PBE products in Keystone's inventory through Ensera's iON Connection. As a part of this agreement, Keystone representatives will distribute iON Connection software CD's to their 25,000 repair facility customers.
Charlie Hogary, CEO, Keystone, said about the partnership, "We have talked to many of the companies that are providing Internet-based services to the collision repair and insurance industries and we've concluded that Ensera is clearly a leader in this area. We are excited about working together to enhance our customer's ability to quickly and easily source the right part to get the job done."
According to Chris Johnson, VP Supplier Services, Ensera is equally excited about the possibilities this partnership offers users. "We are proud to be partnering with the leader in automotive collision aftermarket parts suppliers. We believe that collision repairers should have choice in parts usage, and this agreement will ensure that our customers will have fast and easy access to the industry's most complete line of aftermarket parts and related supplies."
The first phase of this drive to provide a direct connection between repairer and supplier through Ensera's iON Connection will be introduced at the NACE show on Dec. 8, 2000.
