CCC Information Services Names Stanislav fritz Executive Vice President of Product Development

    CHICAGO--Nov. 30, 2000--CCC Information Services Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of CCC Information Services Group , announced today that Stanislav Fritz has joined the company as Executive Vice President of Product Development. In this role, Fritz will oversee product development and management information systems throughout the organization.

    Fritz, 39, began his career in the software industry at Microsoft Corporation, where he was instrumental in the rollout of Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 3.1, including specific work with the international versions. He was responsible for the development of the Middle Eastern and Far East Windows products. Fritz also served as a program manager for functional groups including the advanced consumer technology and international systems groups.
    Fritz has also played an integral role in several startup ventures. He served as Chief Technology Officer at EdView, Inc., an Internet filtering software company, where he guided the transition of EdView's product from concept to reality, and delivered product strategy for the startup software company. Prior to EdView, Fritz was at Ceridian Corporation, a defense electronics and Human Resources management corporation, where he served first as Director of Strategic Planning and later as Strategic Business and Technical Officer.
    Most recently, Fritz served as Chief Technical Officer and Vice President of Software Development at Minneapolis-based Unimax, a computer consulting, design, integration and implementation company, where he was instrumental in the strategic development of enterprise management and tactics for market penetration. His responsibilities included providing strategic direction and assessing new opportunities for the company.
    Fritz holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and two Masters degrees in Administration and International Studies from the University of Washington.
