The BorgWarner Cooling Systems HD11 provides 6 degrees F more cooling at
higher efficiency than current products. The fan has a hubless design, with
blade aerodynamics designed for heavy-duty cooling systems. These design
features result in a reliable, easy-to-fit geometry, with improved cooling
performance while incurring no weight gain.
The BorgWarner HD11 is designed to be stackable, with interlocking
features that keep the fans locked together to minimize shipping damage. More
fans can be shipped in a standard box, resulting in lower shipping costs. The
fans also require less storage space in the production facility.
"By every measure of performance, the new HD11 fan exceeds today's
industry standard. The 14% increase in airflow will help meet today's more
severe cooling requirements," stated BorgWarner Cooling Systems Engineering
Manager, Jim Bailey. The HD11 is scheduled for release in January 2001.
BorgWarner Cooling Systems is a global provider of engine cooling
