America West and Dollar Rent A Car Team Up to Reward FlightFund Visa(R) Cardmembers With Bonus Miles
PHOENIX, Nov. 28 America West Airlines and
Dollar Rent A Car are teaming up to drive up valuable frequent flyer miles
earned for America West FlightFund Visa(R) cardmembers. From now through
May 31, 2001, customers will receive 250 FlightFund bonus miles for every
qualifying DOLLAR(R) rental transaction of one day or longer in addition to
the usual 50 miles per rental day at participating DOLLAR locations.*
Cardmembers simply provide their FlightFund number at the time of rental,
and then pay with their FlightFund Visa credit card and the miles will be
automatically added to their FlightFund account.
For DOLLAR reservations, FlightFund Visa cardmembers can book online at
http://www.dollar.com, call the DOLLAR reservations number at 800-800-4000 or their
travel agent.
To sign up for FlightFund or apply for a FlightFund Visa Card, customers
can go to the America West Web site at http://www.americawest.com. To sign up for
FlightFund by phone customers can contact the FlightFund Service Center at
1-800-247-5691 and to apply for a FlightFund Visa Card by phone customers can
dial 1-800-928-AWFF.
*Twenty-four-hour advance reservations are required. Holiday and other
blackout periods and certain renter qualifications apply. Certain rental
rates may not qualify for frequent flyer miles. Frequent flyer awards are
subject to a $.50 transaction tax recovery surcharge. FlightFund Visa card
members are eligible to combine the 250-bonus mile offer with any single rate
promotion or any existing FlightFund bonus mile promotion Dollar advertises.
Industry discount rates, complimentary rentals and tour rates do not qualify
for frequent flyer miles. Dollar reserves the right to alter or end this
