Paradigm Commences Shipment of Its Vehicle Location Tracking Solutions; Company Moves From Research and Development To Commercialization
TORONTO--Nov. 28, 2000--Paradigm Advanced Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:PRAV), of Toronto, a wireless location-based electronic commerce (L-Commerce) provider, is pleased to announce that it has commenced shipping its Vehicle Location Tracking Devices and solutions to some of its North American customers.The systems shipped include the vehicle locating devices VLD-101, its GPS tracking systems using the North American Microburst-Aeris network; VLD-103 its GPS vehicle tracking devices using the Mobitex network. As well, the company has made available to its customers PowerLOC's Tracker and Client software version 1.0, the tracking and client software, Java solution that enables customers to track, manage and communicate with mobile devices over the Internet.
The company is shipping the first 75 VLD-103 units, part of a larger purchase order received from Guardian Location Corp. based in Virginia and is also shipping its first VLD-101 units to Global Location Systems, Inc. of California.
Paradigm's Vehicle Location Tracking Devices (VLD) are revolutionary products targeted to the mobile fleet/ vehicle management space. Weighing less than eight ounces, they can be installed in almost any vehicle including: automobiles; construction equipment; trucks; buses; motorcycles or even boats. When used with PowerLOC's Tracker, a carrier-grade server, it allows users to track the locations of specific vehicles equipped with these devices, via the Internet.
