AMD Announces Flash Memory Agreement With Siemens Automotive

    SUNNYVALE, Calif.--Nov. 28, 2000--AMD today announced a three-year agreement with Siemens Automotive AG, a global leader in electrical and electronics systems, to supply them with AMD's most advanced Flash memory devices. Under the contract, AMD will provide Siemens with devices intended to meet the increasing demand for Flash memory within Siemens' automotive segment.

"AMD is committed to the automotive market and offers a full spectrum of the most reliable Flash memory devices in the industry that include features such as burst mode, extended temperature range, and Known Good Die (KGD). Additionally, all AMD Flash memory devices produced at FASL are QS9000 qualified."
