Advanced Tracking Technologies Inc. Appoints Charles Wohl Director of Sales & Marketing
HOUSTON--Nov. 27, 2000--Advanced Tracking Technologies Inc. (ATTI), a significant new player in the GPS wireless location industry, today announced the appointment of Charles M. Wohl as director of sales and marketing.As developer and co-founder of Tracking Technology Inc., former program manager for Rockwell Collins Inc. and senior product and regional sales manager for Magnavox Advanced Products & Systems, he brings extensive experience from the navigation and emerging telematics industry.
Wohl will be responsible for establishing strategic alliances, building the sales, marketing and distribution channels while playing a key role in the expansion of research and product development.

Wohl is an experienced engineer, project and product manager. He has directed the development, manufacturing and delivery of GPS receivers and test equipment for advanced navigation systems for aircraft and missiles and communications equipment in the industrial, OEM, mobile, maritime and AVL applications. He holds a 1998 patent for a positional information storage and retrieval system and method.
Wohl has 20 years of progressive experience in business development, sales and marketing in both domestic and international markets. As sales director for Moore-O-Matic Inc., a manufacturing and distribution unit of NORTEK Inc.'s Linear Corporation, Wohl led the integration of sales and distribution channels following the company's acquisition of Stanley-Whistler gate operations.
An aggressive entrepreneur, he founded and built a successful start-up service provider in the wireless location and communications market; and as program manager for Rockwell Collins, he was responsible for the division's stand-alone GPS navigation systems for military aircraft and the NASA Space Shuttle.
Previously, he served as project engineer for Hughes Aircraft in their Radar Systems Group, and as project manager and senior engineer for the Northrop Corporation, a developer of software and hardware systems for advanced aircraft and avionics support.
Wohl's extensive educational background includes a Masters Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Southern California, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, Journalism and Marketing from California State University at Long Beach.
