PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa.--Nov. 27, 2000--Vertical Alliance, Inc. (http://www.VerticalAlliance.com), a emerging leader in integrated customer acquisition, retention, and optimization tools for vertical eBusiness markets, was recently engaged by International Speedway Corporation , in conjunction with Hydrogen Media (a Vertical Solutions Partner), to integrate 18 web site communities into one fully integrated customer relationship management solution for the International Speedway Corporation (ISC).Vertical Alliance accomplished this in 75 days through using its product, Vertical Tracker(TM).
"ISC recognized that our innovative product, Vertical Tracker has the ability to centralize the capture and management of customer and commerce information across multiple web site communities, " said Jeffrey DiFrancesco, Vertical Alliance's chief executive officer.
"Customers can now log on at one site (i.e., http://www.iscmotorsports.com) and be recognized across the entire family of ISC sites."
"Vertical Tracker enables ISC to integrate information captured in real time from all of its affiliated race track sites to create a panoramic view of its customer. ISC can create and use profiles of its visitors, which include tracking information, to deliver personalized content when users visit any of ISC's affiliated web sites. In addition, by customizing templates for ISC through Vertical Tracker, further revision and enhancement to the site can be done centrally, making it cost and time effective for ISC," DiFrancesco said.
"ISC is extremely pleased with the opportunity to be working with Vertical Alliance," said Craig Neeb, Chief Information Officer for ISC. "With the use of the Vertical Tracker software we are now positioned to have one enterprise solution for servicing our guests as well as the venues.
"Vertical Tracker will provide rich source information to better service all the needs of our entire business. We look forward to our ability to align our loyalty marketing and frequent buyer programs with the personalized needs of our individual customers."
The state-of-the-art, newly redesigned web site for motor sports enthusiasts launched this week. ISC's innovative "one click, one door access" initiative will serve as the definitive one-stop Internet destination for all ISC facilities and events. It serves 12 of ISC's motor sports facilities including historic Daytona International Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway.
In addition, 5 web sites serve the Company's ancillary businesses, including MRN, the nation's largest independent sports radio network. The remaining web site is an intranet developed for ISC's internal use.
Through visiting the site, motor sports fans will have access to comprehensive, up-to-date information about ISC facilities, current race events, historical data and valuable resources relating to ISC facilities and businesses.
