AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 22 DTM Corporation has
appointed Patrick Lordi as Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Lordi joins
DTM's senior management team where his experience in high-tech sales
management will help DTM maximize growth opportunities in the prototyping and
manufacturing markets.
Manufacturers and service bureaus around the world use DTM's
Sinterstation(R) systems to rapidly create three-dimensional prototypes,
parts, molds, tooling, and casting patterns directly from 3-D CAD files. The
Sinterstation uses a process called SLS(R) selective laser sintering. Here, a
CO2 laser fuses plastic, metal and ceramic powders to rapidly produce parts in
an additive, layer-by-layer process. (http://www.dtm-corp.com)
"Patrick Lordi will be managing our worldwide sales activities as we
continue to pursue the prototyping market and accelerate the development of
the rapid manufacturing part of our business. His knowledge and experience in
international sales, distribution strategy, and market development will be a
valuable addition to our senior management team," says John Murchison,
President and CEO of DTM Corporation.
Lordi brings more than 20 years of sales, marketing, and management
experience to his new position at DTM. Most recently he was Vice President of
Global Sales & Service at Cymbolic Sciences International. He has also held
sales and sales management positions with Photometrics, Ltd., Nicolet
Instruments Corporation, and Beckman Instruments.
