Arnold Transportation Drivers Selected as Finalists in Driver of the Year Contest
JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--Nov. 21, 2000--Arnold Transportation Services, an operating unit of Arnold Industries, Inc. , announces that two of its drivers, Mr. Mitchell Favors and Mr. Eldridge Graham, have been selected as finalists in the prestigious Company Equipment Driver of the Year contest, sponsored by the Truckload Carriers Association and Trucker's News.Now in its 14th year, the 2000 Company Equipment Driver of the Year contest drew a record number of responses with over 250 nominations. A panel of independent judges will select the top ten winners from the field of 22 finalists.
Mitchell Favors of Arlington, GA is a 20-year veteran of Arnold Transportation. In his 43 years as a professional truck driver he has logged over 4.1 million miles without a chargeable accident and has never had a moving violation as a truck driver.
Eldridge Graham of Fayetteville, NC is a 10-year veteran of Arnold Transportation. He has nearly 30 years of professional truck driving experience and has logged 3.2 million miles without a chargeable accident and has no moving violations as a truck driver.
The combined record of the two drivers is equivalent to making over 2,500 cross-country trips without an accident or getting a ticket for a moving violation.
