Johnson Controls Awarded Global Preferred Supplier Agreement; Agreement Will Expand Relationship With BPATLANTA, Nov. 20 Johnson Controls today announced completion of a preferred supplier agreement that expands its current relationship with BP for the delivery of integrated facility management services. The new agreement is scheduled to run for five years. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Johnson Controls will add BP locations in Naperville and Warrenville, Ill., Houston, Texas, and corporate headquarters in London, UK. This agreement adds 3 million square feet to the portfolio of BP sites supported by Johnson Controls, bringing the global total of sites serviced for BP to 6.2 million square feet. Under the alliance, Johnson Controls will improve processes and standardize service delivery while maintaining tailored support characteristics for each BP site. Johnson Controls is also committed to generating facility management savings, increasing management efficiencies and implementing processes for sharing best practices across the global portfolio. "Our goal is to provide strategic facilities support to BP so that they may focus on their core businesses. It has been rewarding to contribute to the success of BP throughout our seven-year relationship in Europe and we are pleased to expand the scope of our alliance with BP," said Roy Cloudsdale, Vice President of Global Marketing and Business Development, Integrated Facility Management. "This preferred supplier agreement builds on the successful relationship that has been established over the past few years in Europe, where Johnson Controls has become one of the leading suppliers of integrated facility management to BP," said Chris Wood, BP International Relationship Manager for Facilities Management. "We look forward to this relationship growing, wherever business value can be demonstrated."
