    CLEVELAND--Nov. 20, 2000--Eaton Corporation today announced the appointment of Siisi Adu-Gyamfi to the position of vice president, Marketing, effective immediately. Adu-Gyamfi will work with Eaton's senior operating managers to leverage the full scope of Eaton's capabilities and products to deliver real value to customers.

    Adu-Gyamfi joins Eaton from Cummins Engine Company where he has served as vice president, Marketing, with responsibility for sales and marketing for its worldwide power generation business. From 1993 to 1997, he worked for United Technologies, first as director of Planning and later as vice president, Strategic Planning & Development (Carrier division). From 1985 to 1993, he held a series of progressively responsible management and marketing positions at Digital Equipment Corporation.
    Adu-Gyamfi holds a B.S. and M.S. in mechanical engineering and a B.S. in management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
    He will be located at the company's headquarters in Cleveland and report to Randy W. Carson, senior vice president and group executive.
