ArvinMeritor Honored for Distinguished Support by the March of DimesTROY, Mich., Nov. 17 ArvinMeritor, Inc. is helping in the fight for healthier babies. At ceremonies that took place at the Detroit Zoological Institute on November 14, the company was recognized for Distinguished Event Support in advancing corporate leadership and in helping to continue the March of Dimes' successful fight to save babies. ArvinMeritor's support for the March of Dimes of Southeast Michigan includes sponsorship of the annual "ArvinMeritor March of Dimes Celebrity Golf Classic" presented by WJR 760 AM. Larry Yost, ArvinMeritor chairman and CEO serves as an honorary chairman of the event, which raised $150,000 for the March of Dimes in 2000. ArvinMeritor has sponsored this fund-raising event for the past three years. "We are greatly honored to receive this recognition from the March of Dimes," said Yost.
