Pickups Plus Company Stores Report Growth in October

    MASON, Ohio--Nov. 16, 2000--Pickups Plus, Inc. (OTCBB:PUPS) company stores posted strong sales for the month of October compared with 1999 figures for the same time period. The Sharonville, Ohio and Florence Kentucky stores posted increases, but the Muncie store showed the strongest growth at 19% for October. "Like the company stores, many franchise stores report strong sales as well," said John Fitzgerald, President and CEO.
    "We're very encouraged by the sales growth in our stores," said Fitzgerald. "We are optimistic about sales in the fourth quarter, which have traditionally been strong for us. In addition to retail sales, we expect to sign several new franchises by the end of the year."
    Currently 50% of all vehicles sold in the United States are light trucks. Personalizing these vehicles has become an industry estimated at 34 billion dollars a year.
