Schumacher Automotive Returns to ADP Dealer Services After Four Years

    CHICAGO--Nov. 16, 2000--

Complete Networking Capabilities and Single Service History Were Key as Schumacher Connects Its Twelve Franchises in South Florida

The Dealer Services Group of Automatic Data Processing, Inc. - Schumacher Automotive has selected ADP(R) Dealer Services as their solutions provider for its twelve franchises in South Florida. After four years, Schumacher has returned to ADP, subscribing to the ASP dealer management system (DMS) that provides the full range of services from networking and consulting to Internet access and Management Advisor.
Complete networking capabilities, Internet and e-commerce solutions along with a single service history were the key factors in Schumacher's decision to return to ADP. The automatic intra company postings will also assist with internal issues and build stronger communication between franchises.
"ADP has the ability to handle the entire organization using a single name file and a single service history thereby eliminating duplications. This is critical due to the large volume we handle within all of our franchises," said Chuck Schumacher. "It saves us time and money and assists us in servicing our customers more effectively."
ADP's consulting and professional services, matched with the Sales Advisor product, will provide Schumacher with key solutions as they create their Business Development Center. "Virtually every product ADP offers we plan to subscribe to," added Schumacher.
"Our networking capabilities paired with our e-commerce solutions continue to have a positive impact on the automotive and heavy truck industries as more retailers like Schumacher look for opportunities to manage their dealerships for maximized profits," said John Gleason, division vice president, North America Sales.
