The Haartz Corp. Promotes Jackson to Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Automotive Interiors BusinessBLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., Nov. 16 The Haartz Corp. has promoted Tim Jackson to vice president of sales and marketing - interiors, according to Bill Kendrick, president of the Acton, Mass.-based automotive supplier. In his new position, Jackson reports directly to Kendrick and is responsible for sales and marketing of the company's interior-trim products to all the major North American automotive manufacturers and several tier-one auto suppliers worldwide, including Johnson Controls, Lear, Magna, Textron and Visteon. He will continue to be based at the Bloomfield Hills, Mich. sales office, which primarily houses the company's interior business. This encompasses a full portfolio of moldable interior-trim materials, including a variety of thermoplastic olefin (TPO) coverstock and vinyl laminates for instrument panels, door panels and console lids. John M. Capron, vice president of sales and marketing - exteriors, directs the company's exterior business from the company's headquarters in Acton. This includes sport-utility vehicle and convertible topping fabrics for U.S. and European automakers worldwide. Jackson has nearly 15 years of solid sales and marketing experience with Haartz. Most recently, he served for three years as director of automotive sales - interiors, where he was instrumental in developing marketing strategies for new products and generating tactics to increase sales growth for the company's moldable interior-trim business. Prior to this, he worked at Haartz in various positions of increasing responsibility. He began his career as a sales executive with the former Bloomfield Hills, Mich.-based M&P Fabrics Inc., sales representatives for Haartz. Jackson attended Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Mich., majoring in finance. He also completed several advanced courses in Plastics Compounding and Application, Injection Mold Design and Plastics Processing at the former General Motors Institute (now Kettering University) in Flint, Mich.
