CustomerLink Appoints Jeff Cooke As President and Chief Executive Officer
ROSEVILLE, Calif.--Nov. 15, 2000--Today, CustomerLink Systems, Inc., a leading Application Service Provider (ASP) of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and marketing services for the automotive services industry, announced the appointment of Mr. Jeff Cooke as President and Chief Executive Officer."We are thrilled that Jeff accepted the position of President and CEO of CustomerLink Systems. Mr. Cooke has held a series of senior management roles at Hewlett Packard, Apple Computer, NEC Computers and The onQuo Corporation.
Most recently, Mr. Cooke was President and CEO of The onQuo Corporation, in Roseville, California, which developed an innovative e-commerce enabling suite of software products. While at onQuo, Mr. Cooke commercialized the intellectual property, developed a go-to-market strategy, built a high performance team, raised the necessary funding, and positioned the company for acquisition.
Prior to onQuo, Mr. Cooke was President and COO of NEC Computers, Inc., in Mountain View, California, where he led a financial turnaround for commercial PC's, notebook computers and network servers, and the development of highly innovative commercial computing solutions.
As a part of the Apple Computer turnaround effort, Mr. Cooke was recruited as Vice President of Global Customer Care, to develop a world-class "customer stewardship" capability.
During his 16 years at Hewlett Packard, Mr. Cooke led several global businesses, including the company's Global Procurement Operations, Worldwide Service and Support for the company's printer business, and Global Supply Chain for the company's interconnect demand. He was also responsible for the supply chain for Hewlett Packard's North American PC and Server business.
Mr. Cooke has been a member of the board of directors for CustomerLink Systems, Inc. since April of this year, and also serves as Chairman of the Board for Educational Media Foundation and as Director of the Board for Soulbody.com Innovations, Inc.
Mr. Cooke received a B.A. in Business and Computer Science from Northwest Nazarene University. He is also a graduate of Hewlett Packard's executive management program. Mr. Cooke currently resides in the Sacramento area.
