Dynasty Announces Executive and Management Additions: Glenn Ashdown VP of Engineering & Development, Graham Hill Manager of Industry & Government Relations, Brad Imrich as Corporate Controller
KELOWNA, B.C.--Nov. 15, 2000--Dynasty Motorcar Corporation (CDNX:DYC.) Gerry McParland, President of Dynasty Motorcar Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Glen Ashdown as Vice President of Engineering and Development, Graham Hill as Manager, Industry and Government Relations, and Brad Imrich as Corporate Controller.Mr. Ashdown has served as Vice President of Engineering, Western Star Trucks Holdings for the past several years, where he established an impressive track record in vehicle development, design and testing. "Most of us at Dynasty have first hand knowledge of Glen's professionalism and dedication and we are therefore confident that under his engineering leadership, Dynasty will continue to be a leader in Low Speed Vehicle technology" stated McParland.
Mr. Hill has been involved in the Low Speed Vehicle industry since 1996. He was Dealer Operations Manager for the Trans 2 Corporation before joining Global Electric MotorCars as an EV Specialist in 1999, where he was responsible for dealer development and customer relations, and was published on several EV topics. He is currently VP of the Denver Electric Vehicle Council and has been an officer there since 1996. Graham has been selected as panel speaker for conferences sponsored by the Electric Power Research Institute, the Department of Energy, Clean Cities, and the American University 21st Century Transportation Conference, among others. Operating from Boulder, Hill's responsibilities at Dynasty will include liason and communication with government agencies and the Electric Vehicle Associations of America and Canada, to monitor electric vehicle incentives and regulations, and to identify emerging markets worldwide for the Dynasty vehicles.
Mr. Imrich, C.A., formerly Business Audit Coordinator at Western Star Trucks Holdings, and prior thereto, Controller for Syncros Applied Technology Inc. of Vancouver, brings to Dynasty his experience in the financial management of successful companies and will be responsible for financial strategy, corporate reporting, treasury, information technology, and business planning. Mr. Imrich received a Bachelor of Commerce from U.B.C., and has several years accounting experience with Placer Dome and Ernst & Young.
