Delphi Technician Receives Exceptional CertificationINDIANAPOLIS, Nov. 15 A Delphi Automotive Systems technician in Indiana is one of a select group of people to receive a distinct certification. Jim Kelly, senior technician, Advanced Powder Metal Development section, Indianapolis, is one of 40 people certified in the U.S. and Brazil in 2000, as a Powder Metallurgy Technologist (PMT) with APMI International. By passing the examination and receiving certification, Kelly has demonstrated a comprehension of the basic knowledge of the general principles, practices and terminology in the broad field of powder metallurgy. The certification program was created by APMI International to recognize individuals who have attained the required knowledge of the field to meet high professional standards. Kelly is part of the Energenix team in Kokomo, Ind., the advanced electronics section of Delphi. APMI International is the professional society for powder metallurgy.
