Dura Automotive Announces New Contract Awards
    ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich., Nov. 15 Dura Automotive Systems, Inc. , today announced $268 million
in new contract awards beginning in model years 2001 through 2005.  This new
business includes various platforms in North America and Europe for Ford Motor
Company, General Motors and Volkswagen.
    The $268 million in new contracts includes Seat Mechanisms & Structures of
$77 million, Glass Systems of $66 million, Door Modules of $65 million,
Adjustable Pedals of $45 million and Electronic Park Brakes of $15 million.
Karl Storrie, president and chief executive officer for Dura Automotive,
stated, "We are very proud of these awards as we are starting to see the
benefits of our investment in new technology and continue to benefit from our
recent acquisitions."
