Moldflow Signs Non-Binding Letter of Intent to Acquire FullMetrics Plastics Business from XBOX Technologies; Purchase to Strengthen Moldflow's Shop-Floor Product Offerings

    WAYLAND, Mass.--Nov. 13, 2000--Moldflow Corporation , a world leader in process-wide solutions for optimizing the design and manufacture of plastic products, announced today that it signed a non-binding letter of intent to acquire certain assets of XBOX Technologies, Inc. relating to its FullMetrics business.
    The specific assets to be acquired relate to FullMetrics plastic injection molding applications.
    Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, FullMetrics, Inc. is a provider of real-time information based solutions involving production monitoring and process management for the plastics and die-cast manufacturing sectors. The proposed purchase price consists of a $500,000 initial payment and additional payments of $200,000 to $350,000 per year for five years, based on the achievement of revenue targets.
