Permatex To Market NOS(R) High Performance Chemical Products
    HARTFORD, Conn., Nov. 13 Permatex, Inc., announced today
that the company has added the Nitrous Oxide Systems(R) (NOS) fuel and fluid
additive and treatment product line to the Permatex family of leading
automotive products.  Details of the exclusive agreement were not released.
    "NOS(R) is well respected in the high performance market for their Octane
Booster, Fuel Injector Cleaner, Complete Fuel System Cleaner, and Cooling
System Treatment products," said Permatex President Pat Formica. "This
acquisition and exclusive marketing agreement is great for Permatex and NOS.
It gets Permatex into the high performance segment while giving NOS the
marketing, sales and distribution infrastructure needed to grow the business."
    NOS(R) Octane Booster Racing Formula delivers NOS performance to the
serious enthusiast and was developed to increase octane effect by up to 7
points.  It is blended with MMT and performance-enhancing Powertane, along
with Nitromethane and unique lubricants specially developed for high
performance engines.
    NOS(R) Octane Booster Off Road was developed to increase octane effect by
up to 7 points and is blended with MMT and performance-enhancing Powertane.
    NOS(R) Octane Booster Street Formula, designed to increase octane effect
by up to 3 points, also is blended with MMT and Powertane.
    NOS(R) Complete Fuel System Cleaner is formulated to provide maximum
cleaning for the entire fuel systems of carbureted and fuel-injected engines.
It also includes NOS's performance-enhancing Powertane.
    NOS(R) Cooling System Treatment is a high performance treatment that
reduces engine operating temperature by increasing heat transfer efficiency.
It also lubricates the water pump and conditions seals and other cooling
system components.
    NOS(R) Fuel Injector Cleaner restores lost horsepower, cleans fuel
injectors and provides additional performance with NOS's Powertane formula.
    NOS(R) Engine Treatment & Oil Booster features POWERLUBE, the market's
most advanced engine treatment and oil additive. The formula contains no PTFEs
or chlorinated paraffins.
