Oxford Automotive, Inc. Promotes Aurelian Bukatko To Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer    
    TROY, Mich., Nov. 13 Oxford Automotive, Inc., a leading
Tier 1 OEM automotive supplier, announced today the promotion of Aurelian
Bukatko from Senior Vice President and CFO to Executive Vice President and
CFO.

    In this role, Bukatko will be responsible for corporate financial
functions and information technology including treasury, financial reporting,
procurement and systems with emphasis on building a strong automotive supply
operation on a worldwide basis.  Reporting to Steven Abelman, President and
CEO, Bukatko will also work closely with the Board of Directors of Oxford.
    "Aurelian is well versed in both operations and managing treasury issues,
his contributions toward our global growth have been significant and justify

    Prior to his experience with Oxford Automotive, Bukatko was Corporate
Treasurer of Hayes-Lemmerz International, a global manufacturer of steel and
aluminum wheels, brake drums and rotors for motor vehicle manufacturers in
North America, Europe and Asia.  In addition, he served as Director of Global
Currency Management for Lear Corporation where he was also the European
Treasurer and Financial Director International for Lear Seating in Germany.
