Industry Leaders to Discuss Covisint and E-Commerce in the World Market At the 35th Annual Detroit Management Conference, Wednesday, Nov. 15 At the Michigan State University Management Education CenterEAST LANSING, Mich., Nov. 13 The 35th Annual Detroit Management Conference on Wednesday, Nov. 15, will focus on the leadership role metro Detroit and the automotive industry are taking in shaping the e-commerce revolution. The conference will be held at the Michigan State University Management Education Center at the corner of Square Lake and Crooks Roads in Troy and is sponsored by the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. The conference schedule: * 1:30 p.m. -- Internet Workshop -- "Broadband: The High Speed Advantage in Today's Digital Economy." (Presented by Big Net.) * 3 p.m. -- Panel Discussion -- "Detroit Goes Dot.Com" -- the panel discussion will feature key architects developing the Covisint online business-to-business exchange. Discussing the year's most-talked about and most-debated business initiative are Alice Miles, Ford Motor Co.'s leader on Covisint's executive planning team; Gary Dilts, senior vice president, e- commerce platform team, DaimlerChrysler Corp.; Don Walker, vice president, Commerce One; and Paul Cook (CFA), senior portfolio manager, Munder Capital Management. * 5 p.m. -- Reception. * 6 p.m. -- Dinner and Keynote Presentation -- "Making Every Customer an MVP: Brand Building in the New Economy," by John Costello.
