Lear Corporation Appoints Mark Yost Director - Technology Communications
    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Nov. 13 Lear Corporation
today announced the appointment of Mark R. Yost to Director - Technology
Communications, reporting to Lear Vice President - Corporate Relations, Leslie
A. Touma.
    As Director - Technology Communications, Yost will be responsible for
increasing the global visibility of Lear's technological capabilities and new
product and process innovations through a media outreach campaign, and at
exhibits and trade shows.
    Yost joins Lear from Bloomberg News in Southfield, Mich., where he was a
business reporter covering the auto industry.  Prior to joining Bloomberg, he
was a reporter with Dow Jones & Co. Inc., covering the auto industry for the
Dow Jones Newswires from Detroit and high-tech startup companies in the
Washington, D.C.-area from the Richmond, Va., bureau.
    During his eight-year career with Dow Jones, Yost also spent time writing
for the editorial page of The Wall Street Journal, primarily about U.S.
defense issues such as advanced communications strategies and digitizing the
21st-century battlefield.
    Yost has also worked as the Public Relations representative for GM's
Oldsmobile Division on the NASCAR Winston Cup Series.  A native of Bath, N.Y.,
Yost earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Brooklyn (N.Y.) College
following six years of service in the U.S. Navy.
