FABTECH International 2000 Opens Tomorrow, Nov. 14, At Cleveland's I-X Center
    Industry-Focused Events Provide Comprehensive Manufacturing Resources

    CLEVELAND, Nov. 13 For manufacturers in search of the
latest metal forming and fabricating resources, all roads lead to Cleveland's
I-X Center for the 2000 edition of FABTECH International, opening tomorrow and
running through November 16.  With a show floor 40 percent larger than in
1998, over 30 technical sessions, and manufacturing insights from a top auto
supplier executive at the keynote breakfast, FABTECH offers a comprehensive
forum of manufacturing resources.
    FABTECH International 2000 expects to draw 18,000 forming and fabricating
professionals from over 50 countries.  Nearly 700 companies will display and
demonstrate six million pounds of equipment in 270,000 net square feet.
Technology categories include: bending and folding; coil processing; controls
and computer systems; cutting; finishing; lasers; material handling; plate and
structural fabricating; pressworking and stamping; punching; robotics; roll
forming; safety equipment; tube and pipe producing and fabricating; and
welding.  FABTECH is North America's largest annual metal forming and
fabricating exposition and conference.
    Show hours are: Tuesday, Nov. 14, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Wednesday, Nov. 15,
9 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Thursday, Nov. 16, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
    The world-class FABTECH International Conference features 30 sessions that
explore the latest production processes and business improvement strategies.
In addition, free Product Technology Forums comprised of panels of leading
equipment manufacturers explore industry innovations and trends in tube
bending, stamping, comparative cutting and press brakes.

be the featured keynote breakfast speaker on Wednesday, November 15.  Mr.
Greene will present Changes, Trends, and Challenges: How Customer and Consumer
