Global Technovations Receives OSA-II Powertrain Reorder From General Motors and Daimler-Chrysler

    PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.--Nov. 13, 2000--

    -- Companies Use GTI's MotorCheck(TM) Instrument
    In Engine Development Laboratories --

Global Technovations, Inc. ("GTI" or the "Company") (AMEX:GTN) today announced that it received purchase orders from Daimler-Chrysler, Inc. for two of its patented MotorCheck ("OSA-II") instruments and an additional purchase order from General Motors for another OSA-II instrument.
The OSA-II instrument will be used by both companies in engine development laboratories to provide dynamometer test cell engineers with on-site wear metal analysis as well as early detection of fuel dilution and coolant leaks in proto-type test engines. This analysis helps reduce engine development time and saves significant money by providing engineers with data that enables them to verify wear metal trends. MotorCheck(TM) analyzes the oil and reveals when wear metals suddenly start to increase and predicts fuel dilution and coolant leads. This helps decrease engine development time and significantly reduces cost by providing engineers with data that enables them to pre-diagnose and avoid potential catastrophic engine failure. Currently, the Company's OSA-II instrument is being used for powertrain testing by a number of major OEMs, including Daimler-Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, and Harley Davidson.
Will Willis, the Company's CEO and Chairman, commented, "In October 1997, we announced that a single OSA-II instrument had generated over $2,000,000 in SCORE savings (a process that challenges suppliers to continuously seek out and identify opportunities to lower costs in the vehicle manufacturing process) at Daimler-Chrysler. We are delighted that Daimler-Chrysler and General Motors have expanded their usage of our OSA-II technology to help improve their development of new automotive products."
Mr. Willis continued, "We are very encouraged by recent OEM interest in the OSA-II technology, which we believe has occurred due to the increasing visibility of our product. Additionally, these orders further validate the quality and value of our proprietary OSA-II technology."
