In order to strengthen network security and minimize the number of password related calls to their help desk units, Ford Motor Company is implementing many P-Synch features including: -- Bi-directional password synchronization triggered by Windows 2000, Windows NT, Netscape LDAP and RACF. -- User self-service password reset with authentication based on both question and answer profiles and RSA SecurID tokens. -- Web-based management of authentication profile data on LDAP. -- Web-based help desk password reset facility. -- Integration with Remedy ARS, to automatically generate and populate call records.
