ORLANDO, Fla.--Nov. 9, 2000--eMax Corporation's (OTC:EMAX) subsidiary, Gateways Entertainment, Inc., has set their tour schedule for year 2001. Gateways Entertainment produces and promotes motorcycle, hotrod, sports music concerts and other live events throughout the United States. The president of Gateways Entertainment, Inc., Leon Hatcher, one of the original founders of Newriders, (AMEX:EZR), has been hugely successful for over fourteen years in the production and promotion of special motorcycle and hotrod sports events. Over the past ten years Mr. Hatcher has been successful for other companies growing from no sales to in excess of $2.5 million in gate receipts and is solely responsible for the company producing over 1 million dollars a year in event novelty sales. Gateways Entertainment, Inc. plans to produce and promote a minimum of twenty-five family entertainment events throughout the United States within the next 12 months. The events will include motorcycle drag racing, music concerts, hotrod and motorcycle competition shows, and weekend fairs and festivals for the entire family. Gateways Entertainment plans to add television and interactive broadcasting of the live events to eMax's websites. People all around the world who are too far to travel to the live events will be able to view events from their homes.In year 2001, Gateways Entertainment plans to be at the following events. These events are weekend drag racing events and fairs for the entire family. April 28-29, Red River Raceway, Shreveport, LA, May 12-13 Myrtle Beach SC, June 9-10 Montgomery AL, July 7-8, Beech Bend Raceway Bowling Green KY, August 6-10, Sturgis SD, September 8-9 Donaldson LA, October 20, October 27, and November 2-3 ADBA Top Fuel World Championship. This year Gateways Entertainment generated in excess of $375,000 in sales May 8-18 in Myrtle Beach SC and $800,000 in sales August 3- 23 in Sturgis SD.
The Company believes its business model compares favorably with other entertainment companies such as SFX , Harley Davidson, , and V-TWIN (OTC:VTWN).
Leon Hatcher, President of Gateways Entertainment stated, "We are beginning to expand our existing outdoor traveling entertainment division. In Year 2001, we will include additional tractor trailers to the Gateways traveling entertainment caravan. The additional trucks will allow Gateways to handle other merchandising such as food concessions, arcade games, and recording artist tour merchandise for the performing artists which will be traveling with Gateways in year 2001. Artists will include classic rock recording artists, such as the Former "Doobie Brothers", and "Shadows of Knight", country recording artists and other pop recording artists. Gateways Entertainment plans to include the involvement of numerous sponsors who has been supportive of the company's events within the past several years. Gateways Entertainment intends to make a unique impression in the community as a quality traveling family entertainment company".
