All Roads Lead to the Checkered Flag: College Football Joins NASCAR Winston Cup Racing to Unveil the First Ever Cross-Marketed Race CarATLANTA, Nov. 9 The Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl and BellSouth Corporation, a corporate sponsor of the Bowl, will unveil today a special Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl paint scheme on the No. 01 BellSouth/Team SABCO Chevrolet. The unveiling will take place at 6:00 p.m. prior to the Georgia Tech vs. Virginia football game. The Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl paint scheme will be featured in the NAPA 500 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway on November 19. The Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl logo will appear on the hood of the car and on the side panels. This sponsorship marks the first time that a college bowl game has cross-marketed to the NASCAR audience. The unveiling at the Calloway Plaza parking lot at Bobby Dodd Stadium will feature appearances by David Salyers, vice president of store marketing for Chick-fil-A, Inc; Glenn Cornell, chairman of the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl; and Gary Stokan, president of the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. Die-cast versions of the special Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl paint scheme on the BellSouth/Team SABCO Winston Cup car will be sold via the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Web site during Bowl Week (http://www.chick-fil-apeachbowl.com ).
