Unique Mobility, Inc. Announces Appointment of Carl L. Schlemmer to Head its Franklin Manufacturing UnitGOLDEN, Colo., Nov. 9 Unique Mobility, Inc. (Amex: UQM), a developer of alternative energy technologies, announced today that it has appointed Carl L. Schlemmer as General Manager of its Franklin Manufacturing unit. Mr. Schlemmer will succeed William C. Moffitt who was named interim General Manager in July. Mr. Moffitt will continue as a consultant to the Company. Mr. Schlemmer has more than 20 years experience as a senior manager of various electronics manufacturing operations including, most recently, as General Manager of TRW Lucas Varity Automotive Control Systems, a manufacturer of sensors for Original Equipment Manufacturers and automotive applications. Prior to that, Mr. Schlemmer was Vice-President of Operations for Trident International, a manufacturer of industrial ink-jet subsystems for Original Equipment Manufacturers worldwide and Vice President of Operations for Schott Electronics, a division of Schott Glaswerke of Mainz, Germany, a manufacturer of electronic products for the computer, medical and defense industries.
