Auteo Media Experiences Spectacular Growth in California Auto Dealer Market
SEATTLE--Nov. 7, 2000--Auteo Media, Inc. (OTCBB:AUTM), a leading provider of point-of-purchase marketing and internet-based communication services to the automotive industry, announced today that, due to concentrated sales efforts and exponential growth in the demand for their data collection and internet exposure services for new/used cars, their market share for the Dealers Specialties operation in the California Bay Area has increased ten percent in less than two business quarters.
The California Dealers Specialties business unit, a geographical expansion of Auteo Media's highly successful Northwest Dealer Specialties unit based in Washington State, provides data collection, digital photography, and Internet exposure for hundreds of new and used car dealerships.
"The reason behind the tremendous growth we have experienced in the California Bay Area is that the Dealers Specialties service essentially sells itself, offering dealerships valuable Point of Purchase and Internet exposure at an extremely low price," said Marvin Lewis, Director of California Sales for Auteo Media, Inc.
Through the program, trained Account Specialists visit dealerships on a weekly basis. Specialists record details of individual cars, take a digital picture, print point-of-purchase window labels, then place the vehicles onto top Web auto sites including Yahoo, America Online, and Microsoft's CarPoint.
