    SEATTLE--Nov. 7, 2000--

Executives Bring Automotive Industry, Marketing and Technology Expertise to Company's Management Team

    Markethaus Inc. (www.markethaus.com), a provider of Internet-based hosted applications services for the automotive industry, today announced it has appointed David Wassmann as chief strategy officer and Anthony Gaetjens as chief financial officer.
    Wassmann brings more than 17 years of experience in marketing and advertising for the automotive industry to Markethaus. As chief strategy officer, Wassmann will play an integral role in developing Markethaus' customer relationship management (CRM) and business operations management systems.
    Most recently a group senior vice president at InterOne Marketing Group (formerly Ross Roy Communications), Wassmann led the CRM Intelligence Group that researched and designed marketing communications programs for Daimler-Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth and Jeep, as well as Service Contracts and Mopar and Financial Services. He also served as director of marketing at ASG Renaissance, an automotive consulting firm, and held several management positions with J. Walter Thompson, where he worked on the Ford Motor Company account in both the United States and Mexico.
    Gaetjens joins Markethaus with more than 25 years of experience in finance and accounting. In his role as chief financial officer, Gaetjens will be responsible for all of Markethaus' financial transactions, as well as conducting financial planning and forecasting and overseeing the direction of all accounting functionality.
    Prior to joining Markethaus, Gaetjens served as chief financial officer at Destinations.com and vice president of finance at World Travel Partners/BTI Americas/Doug Fox Travel. During his 10-year tenure at World Travel Partners, Gaetjens also held positions as director of finance, Western regional controller and financial analyst.
