Ford Unveils New Strategy for Widening Appeal of Crown Victoria; just-auto.com and BlueOvalNews.com ReportLONDON, Nov. 6 http://www.just-auto.com -- Following the success of the Focus, Ford is planning to apply the same ideas to the Crown Victoria. In an exclusive interview at http://www.just-auto.com/features_detail.asp?art=317 with BlueOvalNews, Ford Division's Crown Victoria Brand Manager Lisa Glassner and Ford Division spokesman Bill George talk about the strategies in place to target the younger buyers. Broadening the appeal of the Crown Victoria is a priority for Ford. Glassner says, "Customers are beginning to look elsewhere beyond sport utility vehicles and they are looking for a large car with the right image, styling, and features to fit their needs, without having to sacrifice the storage and roominess normally associated with sport utility type vehicles." Launched at Sema last week, the concept vehicle offers V8 power and "unique interior styling." All that remains to be seen now is whether the vehicle will attract the younger generation of drivers.
