Textron Fastening Systems Names New Group President
              Camilla Denison to Lead Automotive Solutions Group

    TROY, Mich., Nov. 6 Textron Fastening Systems (TFS)
announced today the appointment of Camilla Denison as president of its
Automotive Solutions - Americas group, one of the company's three market-
focused businesses.  She reports to Jake Hirsch, TFS chairman, president, and
chief executive officer.
    In this critical role, Denison will lead the growth of the Automotive
Solutions - Americas group and will oversee all aspects of the organization,
including customer relationships, technology development, operations,
administrative and support functions.
    "Camilla's strong, multi-faceted automotive experience, including
operations and engineering, will be a real asset for TFS, especially as we
work to build and leverage our capabilities in the Automotive Solutions
group," said Hirsch.  "We are thrilled to have her join our team."
    Denison has an impressive background of global automotive business
experience.  She joins Textron from Visteon Corporation where she most
recently served as business unit director for cockpits.  Earlier, she served
as Visteon's chief engineer and operations director for the electronics
division.  Prior to Visteon, she held various positions of increasing
responsibility at ITT Automotive such as vice president - commercial worldwide
for the electrical side of the business.  Beginning her career at General
Motors, Ms. Denison spent ten years there in a variety of engineering and
manufacturing roles.
