RV Chassis Supplier Expands ARI Solution to Reach All Dealers

    MILWAUKEE--Nov. 3, 2000--

Workhorse Custom Chassis Extends ARI's Reach in RV-Related Market

ARI Network Services, Inc. , a leading provider of Partner Relationship Management (PRM)/e-Commerce solutions for equipment manufacturers with shared service and distribution networks, announced that Workhorse Custom Chassis of Union City, Ind., a manufacturer of step vans and chassis for Class "A" motor homes, commercial step vans and school buses, has licensed an additional 251 copies of EMPARTviewer(TM), ARI's electronic catalog viewing software, for use by their dealers.
In February of 1999, Workhorse licensed TradeRoute(R), ARI's dealer communications software for all of their dealers and a limited number of copies of EMPARTviewer(TM), ARI's electronic catalog viewing software. In addition, Workhorse licensed EMPARTpublisher(TM), ARI's electronic catalog creation software.
"It has always been our goal to provide the best value to our dealers and customers," said Andrew Taitz, chairman and chief executive officer of Workhorse. "That is why we decided to provide our dealers with a total solution for their ordering and parts lookup needs."
The ARI solution has simplified the transition process with approximately 300 GMC Truck and Chevrolet dealers who were authorized to service General Motors chassis, according to Charles Christy, national service manager for Workhorse. "We were able to get the GMC dealers situated to handle the Class A chassis under the Workhorse brand without any meaningful problems, since the ARI software can be integrated with dealers' internal business systems," said Christy.
"ARI is pleased to have been chosen by Workhorse as a strategic partner for their dealer network," said Brian E. Dearing, ARI's chairman and chief executive officer. "Workhorse is among the growing number of manufacturers who recognize the value of providing their dealer network with the tools they need to succeed. TradeRoute and EMPARTviewer have improved service, increased productivity and reduced costs in the RV industry. We are confident that Workhorse and their dealers will experience these same results."
"There are definite benefits for us, as a supplier to the RV industry to have our dealers use TradeRoute and EMPART, as it allows our dealers to use the same software they use to communicate with the RV manufacturers. The ARI solution is fast becoming a de facto standard for the RV industry," added Taitz.
Workhorse Custom Chassis was formed in 1998 as a manufacturer of Class A motor home, commercial step van, and school bus chassis.
