Honda Manufacturing of Alabama, LLC New Hire Pre-Orientation

    WHAT:    The first team of Honda new hires for Honda Manufacturing of
             Alabama, LLC (HMA), located in Lincoln, Alabama will receive a
             pre-orientation to welcome and educate them about Honda, prior to
             their first day of employment.

    WHO:     HMA new hires.

             Speakers to include:

             Mikio Yoshimi - President and CEO, Honda Manufacturing of Alabama
             Andy Ritter - Senior Manager of Administration for HMA
             Ed Castile - Director, Alabama Industrial Development Training

    WHEN:    Thursday, November 9, 2000 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

             Media covering the event will be able to set up in the auditorium
             prior to pre-orientation and are invited to stay until the first
             break at approximately 6:30 p.m.

             205 East Street South
             Talladega, Alabama

    NOTE:    Media will have opportunities for interviews with Andy Ritter and
             Ed Castile from 4:00p.m. - 5:00p.m.
