Subaru Partners With MBNA America Bank, N.A. to Give Cardholders Total Control
Subaru MasterCard Offers Cardholders Up to $2,000 in Subaru Discount Coupons

CHERRY HILL, N.J., Nov. 2 Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA), a
pioneer of crossover all-wheel drive vehicles designed for the active
lifestyle driver, today announced its partnership with MBNA America to offer
customers a new, expanded Subaru credit card program. The new program allows
cardholders to earn up to $2,000 in Subaru Discount Coupons and can be used
for a variety of exciting discounts on Subaru vehicles and maintenance.
The Subaru MasterCard allows customers to choose multiple options when
redeeming their earned points. Each time a spending level of $3,333 is
reached, customers automatically receive a $100 coupon (3% of net retail
purchases). Up to five, $100 coupons can be earned per year for a total of
four years (a $2,000 value), and can be applied towards the purchase or lease
of a new Subaru vehicle. Cardholders can also use coupons for scheduled
maintenance, a Subaru Added Security Contract or a new automotive accessory.
"We are taking this opportunity to show our customers how much we value
their business," said Joe Barstys, manager, customer satisfaction, Subaru of
America, Inc. "Like the Subaru All-Wheel Drive system that gives drivers
superior control and handling, the Subaru MasterCard gives cardholders the
total control to decide how to use their earned points."
