Japan Grants Patent Rights to Sense Technologies for Its Microwave Radar Back-Up Vehicle Safety Device

    OMAHA, Neb.--Nov. 2, 2000--

Sense Also Holds Patents For Guardian Alert(TM) Product In US, Canada, Great Britain and Australia

    Sense Technologies Inc., with worldwide manufacturing and marketing rights to the Guardian Alert(TM), announced the granting of the company's patent on its Doppler microwave radar back-up warning device for the country of Japan.
    The Japanese patent is the latest in the company's continuing process of acquiring patent protection for major world markets. Sense Technologies currently holds the patent for its Guardian Alert Back-Up Warning System in the United States, Canada, Great Britain and Australia as well as Japan.

    The Guardian Alert is a next generation microwave device that alerts drivers to potential obstacles behind their car using motion-activated Doppler radar.
