Innovative Visualization Technology Enables Specialty Automotive Retailers to Interactively Enhance the Aftermarket Accessory Buying Experience

    EyeVelocity, the leading provider of visual configuration technology, announced today the addition of Customize-It(TM) to its suite of "powered by EyeVelocity" products. Customize-It is the first interactive solution specifically designed to help specialty automotive retailers increase accessory sales and enhance customer satisfaction by enabling consumers to visually select, configure, and personalize the look and functionality of their vehicle at the point-of-purchase. Building on the success of EyeVelocity's in-dealership accessory sales solution, the MACRO System(TM), Customize-It joins the EyeVelocity suite of products through the company's recent acquisition of Boulder, Colorado-based JBR Marketing, Inc.

    The Customize-It software can be accessed at more than 350 independent specialty automotive retailers nationwide including NAPA Auto Parts, O'Reilly Auto Parts, A.R.E., and 4-Wheel Parts. Consumers can configure their vehicle from a database of over 4,000 vehicle accessories and aftermarket products, which eliminates searching through enormous catalogs to find the right accessories. After consumers are satisfied with the visual representation of their vehicle, their personalized order is then printed and processed, making purchasing easier for both retailers and consumers.
