Under this agreement Cap Gemini Ernst & Young will leverage Parts.com's TradeMotion solutions in the European OEM market.
"I was impressed by Parts.com's pragmatic approach to supply chain issues and by the professionalism of their management team," stated Eric Piat, Chief Technology Officer of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young's Industry Division. Under the terms of the agreement, as suitable opportunities with European manufacturers arise, the two companies will put forward joint proposals built around TradeMotion solutions.
"Partnering with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young enables us to address a perceived weakness identified by some of our potential clients. 'We love your software,' we hear them say, 'but do you have the resources to implement?' From now on, with more than 57,000 Cap Gemini Ernst & Young personnel worldwide working with us, no one can say we don't have the means to roll out and support our solutions!" quipped Shawn D. Lucas, President of parts.com. "This is a milestone for us as we move toward global deployment. We are on target with plans to establish our presence in Europe," Lucas concluded.
