Sika Automotive Appoints Eric Cochran Director of Manufacturing at Grandview, Missouri Facility

    GRANDVIEW, Mo., Oct. 30 Eric Cochran has been appointed
Director of Manufacturing for the Sika Automotive Grandview Missouri Plant it
was announced today by Tony Bishop, Vice President of Grandview Operations.
Mr. Cochran will have responsibility for all production in the newly upgraded
facility.  He will oversee the 280 employees in Automotive injection molding,
Automotive Extrusion, industrial extrusion and compounding.  His major
emphasis will be in continuous improvement in all manufacturing processes.
    Eric Cochran moves to Sika Automotive from Raytech Corporation where he
spent a combined seventeen years in two of their Tier 1 automotive
subsidiaries primarily in areas of production control, supervision and plant
management.
    "We are very happy to have Eric joining our team," said Bishop.  Having
just spent over $15 million to upgrade the Grandview facility we felt it was
imperative to bring in someone who could understand and translate our vision
for growth at the plant level and implement processes that benefit customers
and create a quality work environment for our employees.  Eric has proven
leadership skills and a great track record of productivity.  We look forward
to his contributions to our company."
    A native of Indiana, Eric is married to his junior high school sweetheart
-- they have three children.  In his spare time he plays the trumpet and
enjoys running, spending time with his family and is involved in church
activities.
