Sika Automotive Appoints Dale Wheeler Director of Quality for Grandview, Missouri Facility

    GRANDVIEW, Mo., Oct. 30 Sika Automotive has appointed Dale
K. Wheeler Director of Quality for their Grandview Missouri Plant, it was
announced today by Tony Bishop, Vice President of Grandview Operations.  Mr.
Wheeler will be responsible for the Grandview plant's compliance to all
customer requirements.  His major emphasis will be insuring effective long
term solutions are implemented to provide Sika customers with high quality
zero defect parts and products.
    Mr. Wheeler comes to Sika from Hayes-Lemmerz International where he held
the position of Quality Assurance Manager.  His background also includes
quality management positions at Borg-Warner Automotive and Mercury Marine.
    "Dale will be a great addition to our Grandview team," said Bishop, "his
background in quality assurance, experience with major OEM's plus his
communication and team-building skills will provide our newly upgraded
Grandview plant with an important resource in our goal for top quality
production."
    Dale Wheeler is married to his high school sweetheart -- they have two
grown children.  He is a native of Kansas and has a Bachelor of Science in
Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri at Rolla.
