Profit Pro, Inc. and Technologue Announce Database Alliance

    Profit Pro Will Integrate the Technologue OEM Electronic Parts Catalog
           Into the Profit Pro Aftermarket Electronic Parts Catalog

    DRAPER, Utah, Oct. 27 Profit Pro, a leading provider of
software, information and ordering technology, announced it will integrate the
Technologue OEM database into its aftermarket electronic parts catalog, giving
Profit Pro customers one source for both aftermarket and OEM information.  The
combined OEM/aftermarket database will be available through Vision(TM), Profit
Pro's new Windows Internet-based estimating tool.  In addition to being an
estimating tool with electronic parts cataloging and labor guides, Vision is
an Internet browser and industry news source.  Partnerships with companies
like Technologue and others, as well as with aftermarket parts manufacturers,
expand the benefits Vision users receive.
    Says Brad Duncan, President & CEO of Profit Pro, "We are tremendously
excited to introduce Vision to the aftermarket with the OEM data available
soon.  We anticipate that Vision will rapidly become the standard system used
by service professionals for estimating, information, and ordering.  Having
the OEM data will enhance the ability of installers to locate and order parts
quickly and accurately."
    The OEM data is an important added value for Vision users.  The alliance
with Technologue means that Profit Pro can offer a combined OEM/aftermarket
catalog with parts and pricing to its customers, marking the first time this
choice has been offered to installers.  Says Nicholas Porrini, President of
Technologue, "With the integration of the OEM data, installers will have OEM
parts and pricing available during a quote.  If his aftermarket supplier
doesn't have the part, the installer can quickly and easily quote the OE price
and order the part from the OE dealer.  This makes it easier for the installer
to service his customer."
    The Profit Pro Aftermarket Electronic Parts Catalog is comprised of the
major aftermarket parts manufacturers covering production vehicles dating as
far back as 1967 (for Volkswagens, back to 1960) and has been integrated by
over 40 aftermarket software providers.  With the inclusion of the OEM data,
the Profit Pro catalog will be the information source for the industry.
