Ultra Motorcycle Company Retains Manufacturing and Quality Assurance Consultant
MIRA LOMA, Calif.--Oct. 26, 2000--Bikers Dream Inc. , which does business under the name Ultra Motorcycle Company ("UMC"), Thursday reported:The company is pleased to announce that it has retained Sherry Holliday, as a manufacturing, systems and quality assurance consultant. Holliday commenced work at the company's Mira Loma facility on Oct. 16.
Holliday was formerly employed by Titan Motorcycle Company as its director of Quality Assurance and as a member of its executive staff from May 1999 to July 2000. From 1986 to May 1999, when Holliday began her employment at Titan, she held positions as a quality manager, quality leader and facilitator, vice president of quality assurance, reliability and customer service, and divisional quality manager for several different manufacturers, including W. L. Gore and Associates, manufacturers of GORE-TEX(R).
Her formal education includes a Bachelors Degree in Quality Management and a Masters Degree in Quality Assurance Management. Holliday is also an ASQ Certified Quality Manager, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, a certified community college instructor for Quality Technologies, a certified instructor for World Class Manufacturing Techniques Schonberger, a certified instructor for Theory of Constraints Training, a senior member of the American Society for Quality, and a member of the Society for Human Resources Management.
Hal Collins, chief operating officer, stated: "We are fortunate to have Mrs. Holliday working with us. She will be a tremendous asset to the company in its future development and achieving increased productivity, efficiency, quality and profitability."
