Engineous Software Appoints Vice President to Lead Company's Marketing Efforts; Charles Kennedy Joins Team After Recent Funding Acquired to Strengthen Market Presence

    MORRISVILLE, N.C.--Oct. 26, 2000--Engineous Software, a leading provider of accelerated design improvement software and services, today announced the appointment of Charles "Ted" Kennedy as vice president of marketing.
    Reporting to CEO and president Dennis Nagy, Kennedy will oversee all aspects of the company's marketing efforts, including public relations, strategic partnerships and product marketing.
    Kennedy joins Engineous with over 20 years corporate marketing experience in the software industry. Most recently, he served as vice president of business development at Tangram Enterprise Solutions, where he also worked as vice president of strategic alliances and vice president of marketing. While at Tangram, Kennedy was instrumental in positioning the company in new markets and in launching a new product initiative. Kennedy has also held marketing and technical management positions at Bell & Howell Mail Processing Systems, Digital Equipment Corporation and Data General Corporation.
