DEARBORN, Mich., Oct. 25 NASCAR fans in South Florida will
have an opportunity to meet some of the sport's biggest names -- including
reigning Winston Cup champion Dale Jarrett -- when the South Florida Ford
Dealers host their third Ford Racing Fan Appreciation Day at Pro Player
Stadium in Miami on Thursday, November 9th, from 5-9 p.m. One lucky fan will
win a Ford Flare-Side F-150.
Tickets are free and can be obtained at any of the 28 South Florida Ford
Dealers through November 9th. More than 6,000 fans attended last year's
event.
In addition to Jarrett -- who has won two races this year, including the
Daytona 500 -- Ford's NASCAR drivers scheduled to attend include Mark Martin,
Jeff Burton, Bill Elliott, Ricky Rudd, Elliott Sadler, Brett Bodine and Scott
Pruett. Drivers will sign autographs throughout the event. There will be a
special autograph session for children 16 and under. Drivers will also
participate in question-and-answer sessions. And, drivers will be available
for media interviews.
Fans will also be able to see several show cars and purchase Ford and
individual team merchandise. Fans can participate in interactive racing
displays, featuring video games from GameWork's Ford Racing Zone. In
addition, there will be race ticket giveaways, pit crew demonstrations,
children's attractions, and production vehicles and car club displays. Team
Ford Racing will also be there, welcoming Fan Club members to the event and
signing up new members.

preceding the NASCAR Winston Cup event at Homestead Miami Speedway on Sunday,
November 12.
