    DETROIT, Oct. 23 You are invited to participate in a
conference call subsequent to the release of third quarter earnings by
Championship Auto Racing Teams, Inc. . The conference call will be
held on Wednesday, October 25, 2000, 1:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.

scheduled start time and request to be connected to the Championship Auto
